Ample Hills Creamery

The weather is getting better, (slowly but surely) but the rain/cold shouldn’t stop you and the family from enjoying delicious ice cream from Ample Hills Creamery. Not only do they have several of their own delicious original flavors, but they give you an opportunity to create your very own ice cream with their interactive ice cream classes. If you’re planning a party, this is the perfect place to do it, they have a window that lets you see into the ice cream room where they make it. This is a fun, hands-on and informative place for the entire family. Visit the Ample Hills site for locations and more.

Lego Exhibit at the NY Hall of Science

If you’re a Lego lover who has passed down that trait to your children, this is the perfect move for you all! The New York Hall of Science has a Lego Exhibit going on this weekend. They have several  life size lego sculptures of your kids favorite cartoon characters, a huge sandbox filled with nothing but Legos, glow in the dark Legos, and the DIY Lego Racer derby. You will literally go Lego crazy! For tickets and more information visit Brick Fest Live.
