What’s the Food: Burger Joints!
Hey,WTM family! We hope you got to try some of the places we wrote about last week. Let us know if you have and how your experience was. This week is unintentionally dedicated to burgers, sort of.
Burger & Lobster
First stop, Burger & Lobster. This place is pretty straight forward: you go burger or you go lobster. The burger is delectable but most people go for the lobster. The one and one-half pounder is filling and they have lobsters up to fifteen pounds. The lobster roll is also delicious and stuffed to the max. Everything besides the appetizers comes with salad and fries, also damn good. Burger & Lobster is a franchise that started across the pond in London and now they have many locations, two of them being in New York City one in the Flatiron District and the other at Bryant Park. Enjoy!
burger joint at Le Parker Meridien
burger joint at Le Parker Meridien is a humble burger spot located in an upscale hotel. The decor isn’t fancy and there’s usually a line to get in but it moves pretty quickly. The burger here is on many “best” lists as one of the best burgers in New York City. Go in and judge for yourself, especially if you’re someone that loves burgers. burger joint is a place where you get in and get out but it’s still a fun food experience. Let us at WTM know if you think it’s one of the best in the city.

Handsome Dan’s Snocone & Candy Stand
Enough of all that hearty stuff, let’s get to the sweets. Handsome Dan’s is an old school candy shop in the East Village. This place is fun for kids and adults. Adults love it because you’ll find candy from 20+ years ago, bringing back nostalgic feelings and kids love candy so of course they’ll love Dan’s. They make sodas, cotton candy and snocones in house. Handsome Dan’s really restores that old feeling of candy stores from yesteryear.
