Date Night & Happy Hour: Indoor Date Nights & Delectable Happy Hours
Fat Cat is a basement bar and pool hall. Pretty lowkey, very chill and very cheap. On a rainy day you and bae can swing by, enjoy some drinks, play some games and before you know it, you’ll be battling out a game of ping pong to see who’s paying for the Uber home. Also…live Jazz every night!
Museum of the Moving Image
Museums are arguably one of the best rainy day dates. They’re inexpensive, usually pretty cozy and the two of you can spend as much time as you’d like exploring the exhibits. What’s especially cool about the Museum of the Moving Image is the 14 classic, playable video games they have available including Asteroids, Ms. Pac-Man and Space Invaders.
If you or your special someone is an indie film lover then catching a classic at the IFC theater is your idea of a perfect date. Be sure to visit the IFC site by clicking the link below to see what’s playing and for how long.
This Harlem bar is developing quite a name for itself. Happy hour is from 4pm-8pm and they have such a wide selection of original drink recipes, that you could literally go in and order something different every time. It’s a quiet spot so if you’re looking for someplace to party, this isn’t it. Now if all you want to do is grab a drink and chill with some friends, this is the Move.

Night of Joy
This bar makes excellent drinks. They’re always artistically put together and to make it even better, they all have some sort of natural herb included to give the drink extra flavor. The drink pictured above for example, is made with Bison grass and Goji berries. If you have an exotic palette, Night of Joy bar is the happy hour Move for you.

The tacos are what bring people in but the drinks are what keep them here. Let’s be real, after a couple of strong frozen drinks, you and your friends won’t be going anywhere for a while. Salvation Taco is more than welcoming and will make sure you’re well taken care of and satisfied with your orders. Happy hour is Saturday and Sunday between 12pm-2pm so this one is definitely for the day drinkers.
