What’s The Move Kids: The Hudson River
What’s The Move Kids
If you didn’t get them into camp, it might be too late. But don’t fret, we’re going to help out as much as we can with providing a diverse selection of activities, programs, places and events for your young people. This week our focus is the Hudson River. There are so many activities to get into out here for the summer. Check out some of the ones that caught our eye.
Summer Movies on The Hudson
All summer long you can bring the kids to watch movies on the Hudson. At a park along the Hudson river they set up a huge screen and show classic movies the entire family can enjoy. There’s popcorn and other refreshments and you’re always welcome to bring your own snacks.
Science Saturdays on The Hudson
We have to keep them sharp all summer long. If your kid loves science, his or her fascination with the world will be at an all time high without a science class to sit in, so why not bring them to Science Saturdays at The Hudson. This park along the Hudson River will have various activities for your young scientist to engage in including insects, magnets, electricity much more.
Big City Fishing
Nothing like a relaxing day of fishing with family and friends. The calm breeze, the peaceful air and a day spent bonding in a boat or on a dock. Fishing is a great way for you all to get out of the house and to do something constructive and fun as a family. Not only will kids learn to catch fish, they’ll learn about fishing as a sport, different types of fish that live in the Hudson river and the ins and outs of a fishing rod.
