What’s The Move Food: Gansevoort Market & Tipsy Scoop!

Thaimee Magic

Hello NYC and faithful What’s The Move readers! Hopefully your Fourth of July holiday was filled with joyous moments. This week, Gansevoort Market was the wave. I discovered at least five new favorite eats in the small West Village food market. One of them being, Thaimee, a quick-cook Pad Thai stand. The Pad Thai is made fresh in front of you and it is delectable. They also have a dish with Thai green sauce but the Pad Thai is the most popular.

Chip NYC

Chip NYC is a small bakery, also located inside of Gansevoort Market with some of the best cookies ever. They are bigger and thicker than most cookies and baked fresh daily. Their cookies change all the time, I happened to try the walnut chocolate chip and the oatmeal apple pie, both so good I could not decide on a favorite!

Tipsy Scoop

You ever want your ice cream or sorbet with a little alcohol in it? There’s a place for that and it’s called Tipsy Scoop, serving ice cream and sorbet infused with alcohol and it’s actually delicious. If you’re new to Tipsy Scoop, the strawberry rhubarb bourbon or the spiked hazelnut coffee are both good places to start. The mango margarita sorbet is also to die for.
