It’s Hot: Get to a Water Park, Fast !
Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks
August is typically the hottest month out of the summer. So if you haven’t already been to a water park, it’s long over due. It’s only going to get hotter. Let’s get you and your significant other to a fun water park with cool water rides, refreshing pools and so much more. Now we’ve included the obvious choices because they’ll always be great options but we’ve also included some not so obvious ones. Here’s a list of 6 great water parks you can visit for a fun summer date: Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, Kalahari Resort, Morey’s Piers and Water Parks, (pictured above) Splashdown Beach and Tomahawk Lake Water Park.
This is truly a two for one event and it’s completely free. Bring your significant other out and show them who really has the moves. Enjoy sunset Salsa dancing at Hudson River Park but be sure to arrive early because from 6:30-7:15 there will be free beginner Salsa lessons! After the 45 minute lesson, the DJ will get the party going.
Cool Mess Ice Cream
Who said only kids can have fun creating their own ice cream? No one! Grab bae, tell them to grab their friends and you grab yours and head to Cool Mess Ice Cream, New York’s newest ice cream shop where you can make your own ice cream. Here’s how it works: choose your base ice cream, vanilla, chocolate or strawberry sorbet, then you choose the mix-ins you want to add in, put them all in the machine, sit back and in minutes you’ll have a custom mixed frozen treat.
