Confectionery! Has All Your Vegan Chocolate Wants and Needs!
What’s the Move, New York City? And now New Jersey! This week, I visited a Northwestern Chinese restaurant called Dun Huang. This isn’t your typical Chinese restaurant, you won’t find the usual suspects on this menu. The eggplant salad with garlic and soy sauce was something really different but surprisingly delicious and the skewers are absolutely enjoyable. Dun Huang does pack the spice in these dishes so heads up for those of you who can’t take the heat.

Ferrara Bakery & Cafe
Who likes gelatoooooo? Me too! Ferrara Bakery in Little Italy has the goods. This isn’t a famous bakery for no reason. They have some of the best gelato and Italian desserts here. Cannolis, rainbow cookies, tiramisu; they have all the goods you need for cheat day. The best time to go is during the day because it gets really busy on the weekend.

Confectionery! a vegan chocolatier and bakery, is such a cool place for a treat. They have savory truffles, bon bons, toffees and the likes. Their chocolates are shaped after things like hearts, turtles and even a vulva chocolate. The bakery also offers some of the most clever flavored macaroons, the lemon poppy seed, lavender and cherry vanilla flavors are amazing. Confectionery! is located in the East Village right across the street from Mr. Throwback, a cool nostalgic novelty store.
