Before I even go into detail about anything else, let’s get this common misconception out of the way right now. Dinner—although cliché—isn’t a horrible first date or date period. There are however, a few things you should take into consideration when selecting a restaurant. For starters (pun intended) let’s take Cafeteria off the list. Don’t get me wrong, Cafeteria is a cool spot but let’s try and be a little bit more creative. Location is everything and depending on the type of food and ambiance you’re looking for, that could be challenging. Dinner dates should be intimate; there shouldn’t be loud music or people so loud that you can’t hear each other speak. Romantic, lowkey spots should always be your go to.

Dinner at French restaurant CAMAJE doesn’t get any more romantic, lowkey or creative. A delicious full-course meal is provided to you and your date while blindfolded. With the lost of your sight, your other senses are that much more heightened; smells, textures, sounds, all intensified. Allow yourself to really listen to your date; the sound and tone of their voice. Smell the aromas from the food as well as the fragrance of the wine that will company your meal. More importantly, allow for some playful touching during your meal; hand holding, rubbing or arm caressing. Fully engage with your date, share your thoughts on the experience and so much more! I’m sure by the end of the night you’ll be making plans for another date.

CAMAJE allows you up to 7 days for a refund and tickets are not cheap so plan accordingly!
