    The mixer is a great event We’ve had the pleasure of attending. There’s really no better way to describe this experience than the way the curators did:

    The Mixer is an interactive cooking and cocktails experience. Over the course of this three-hour event, Celebrity Chef Kelvin Fernandez will show you how to create some of his favorite simple dishes while Whiskey Frenz allows you to explore the rich world of Hennessy cognac, with mix classic cocktails with Hennessy V.S.O.P and enjoy one of their most revered blends, Hennessy X.O. You’ll get to learn the art of making some of Hennessy VSOP’s best cocktails and leave as a cognac and cocktail connoisseur. The Mixer is also an amazing way to meet and mingle with like-minded people from the tri-state area. This event includes DIY cooking and cocktail demos as well as passed hors-d’oeuvre and cocktails for 3hrs. The delicious food will be made by the winner of Beat Bobby Flay, Forbes best 30 under 30 and Forbes People’s Choice Winner, Chef Kelvin Fernandez. That bus will depart NYC and return the same-day, immediately following the conclusion of the performances at the festival. The other bus is for the folks interested in the Weekender option. This option will be an all -inclusive experience including transportation to D.C., overnight hotel accommodations (pending…ticket price doesn’t inculde this at the moment), and access to a festival after party. Additionally, for a separate fee, FRIENDS who elect to participate in the Weekender package will be invited to a dope brunch event prior to departing back to NYC on Sunday.
