Writing Interns

What’sTheMoveNYC is looking for Writing Interns for the Spring Semester! We’re interested in talented writers to join our growing staff who can contribute at least 2-3 days out of the week or more. We’re looking for writers who can:

• create original content for our website based on topics conducive to the brand
• attend events like: art shows, panel discussions, networking events etc. Including but not limited to: bars, restaurants, openings, pop-up shops etc. and put together write ups in a timely manner
• turn around quick copy with little to no grammatical errors
• effectively work on their own as well as within a team
• feel comfortable working remotely with little to no supervision
• pitch unique ideas (the more creative the better) effectively and fluently write about them

Ideally, we’re interested in writers with a unique voice with at least 2 years of experience writing for a print or online publication/brand or other relative experience who are passionate about all things lifestyle. Familiarity with WordPress is a plus but not required.

College credit ic currently available. Contributing to WTM will allow you to network, grant you access to special events, have your work published online and continue to grow your writing portfolio! Media Interns

What’sTheMoveNYC is looking for Media Interns for the Spring Semester! We’re interested in talented Photographers & Videographers to join our growing staff who are readily available to cover events all over the city. We’re looking for Photographers & Videographers who can:

• contribute visual content for our website
• attend events like: art shows, panel discussions, networking events etc. Including but not limited to: bars, restaurants, openings, pop-up shops etc. and edit footage in a timely manner
• effectively work on their own as well as within a team
• feel comfortable working remotely with little to no supervision
• pitch unique ideas (the more creative the better)

Ideally, we’re interested in Photographers & Videographers who are experts in all photo/video editing aspects with at least 2 years of experience shooting for a print or online publication/brand or other relative experience who are passionate about all things lifestyle. Familiar with WordPress is a plus but not required. MUST have your own camera equipment.

College credit is currently available. Contributing to WTM will allow you to network, grant you access to special events, have your work published online and continue to grow your portfolio!
